Things look bleak. The economy has not improved. Your job sucks. You can't get rid of that infection. The construction on the streets is never done. Times are tough. But Can You Be Happy? In a letter to a church in Philippi, we see that Paul doesn't try tell them that they can be happy, or how to be happy. He just is happy. And not because he is living in great circumstances either. He wrote this letter from a jail cell... a jail cell! His work was always under attack and always criticized, he was tired and would have loved to have died and gone to heaven. But life - joyous and happy life - in Jesus doesn't depend on circumstance

With these thoughts in mind we are heading into a series where we will be looking at the letter Paul wrote specifically for a group of people who believed the message of Jesus in this ancient city in Greece. We are hoping ~ praying ~ to be challenged with the timelessness, the truth, the beauty and rightness of this very uncommon approach to life.
